I figured instead of writing normal posts of health and wellness that we do on our facebook page. If you have not liked us, go on there and do that. You can win some great prizes, but any way, I thought I would interview people I believe can be an intrigral part of creating a new health experience for you and your family.
So our first interview is with Dr. Emily Leatherman, she is new to our office.
Where are you from? Battle Creek
What made you decide on the chiropractic profession?
I decided in high school after following Dr. Gymer, Dr. Jeromy and Dr. Rachelle around in the office for a class. I liked how chiropractic got at the underlying cause to help people and it really fit in with my lifestyle by maintaining health through eating healthy and exercising along with adjustment.
What type of technic do you specialize in?
Sacral occipital technic
How is it different then other technics?
S.O.T. is different because it is a more gentle technique that deals primarily with low back pain.
What do you love to do for fun?
For fun I Like to run, read, play piano and travel when I find the time.
Since you have been here, I noticed a bit of a competitive spirit, for instance, you and your friend entered a boat competition over the fourth of July and you took second. I could tell that you really wanted to win first, what do you attribute your competitive edge to?
Being the youngest child in my family
It is great having such a dynamic, hard working chiropractor as part of our team, if you have a chance welcome her to Battle Creek, she is going to be a major asset to our community.
